Τι νέο υπάρχει από τον κόσμο του Ghostbusters;
Μια animated ταινία, αλλά και μια σειρά στο Netflix από τον κόσμο του Ghostbusters πρόκειται να ξεκινήσουν τα γυρίσματά τους το επόμενο διάστημα, με τους θαυμαστές της ταινίας από τη δεκαετία του ’80 να μην μπορούν να περιμένουν!
Η ταινία, ο τίτλος της οποίας δεν έχει γίνει για την ώρα γνωστός, πρόκειται να αποτελεί μια παραγωγή της Sony Pictures Animation και τη σκηνοθεσία της θα αναλάβει η Jennifer Kluska (Hotel Transylvania 2) και ο Chris Prynoski (Beavis And Butt-Head Do America). Το σενάριο αυτής υπογράφει η Brenda Hsueh (How I Met Your Mother).
Από την άλλη πλευρά, η Ghostbusters animated series θα αποτελεί επίσης μια παραγωγή της Sony Pictures Animation, απλώς για λογαριασμό του Netflix. Εxecutive producers αυτής θα είναι οι σεναριογράφοι του Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Jason Reitman και Gil Kenan.

Το Ghostbusters έχει διασκευαστεί και στο παρελθόν σε animated series, με τίτλο The Real Ghostbusters. Αυτή προβλήθηκε από το 1986 έως το 1991, ενώ η sequel spin-off series, Extreme Ghostbusters, κυκλοφόρησε το 1997.
